Official Competition Rules
Know the Rules Before You Register.
Eligibility & Entry
Participants must be 18+, be a Texas resident or operate a Texas-based business, own or officially represent an eligible business, complete registration, pay the $150 non-refundable entry fee, and accept the official terms.
Paid Voting
All votes must be submitted through the official platform. Only completed and verified paid-vote transactions are eligible to count toward the official total.
Voting Conduct
Paid votes are final and non-refundable except where required by law or approved for a verified technical or duplicate-payment error. Artificial vote manipulation, automated voting, payment abuse, or fraudulent activity may result in vote removal or disqualification.
Grand Winner Share
The verified Grand Winner receives 20% of the net revenue generated from the entire competition’s eligible paid votes, together with the Dream Business Texas Awards 2026 Grand Winner recognition.
Non-Winner Share
Eligible non-winning contestants receive 20% of the eligible paid-vote revenue attributed to their own contestant campaign and remain eligible for future Dream Business programs and opportunities.
Net Revenue & Results
Net revenue is verified paid-vote revenue less processing fees, documented administrative costs, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks. Public totals remain unofficial until reviewed and certified by the Dream Business Texas Awards Committee.
